  • Yes! Palapa Tours departs from the harbourfront centre and sailes through the Toronto Islands. We cruise for 90 minutes! We drop off and pick up form the same place!

  • Palapa Boats are 20 feet wide by 20 feet long, hexagonal in shape, with a beautiful hand crafted wooden bar, bar stools and a thatched roof! This space is welcoming, fun and gauranteed to please!

  • So long as conditions are safe we will sail rain or shine! Please dress appropriately for the weather. In cases of inclement weather (i.e. storms) we may postpone the cruise. You will be notified in advance whenever possible.

Sailing

  • Unfortunately the vessels are not accessible at this time, although we are working on it!

  • Service Animals and pets are permitted aboard our ship. So long as all passengers are safe, we’d love to have your seadogs sailing with us!

  • No lifejackets or PFD’s are needed to play. Our ships are outfitted with enough lifejackets in case of emergency. As our vessels are high stability pontoon boats, the sail is very smooth and does not necessitate wearing a lifejacket or PFD while on board. However the water can get choppy at times.

      Eco Friendly:

      • We have gone green. Palapa Tours does not offer single use plastics. As such, your initial drink will include a 10oz Palapa souvenir glass. We will reuse this cup for all on-board purchase/refills.

      Music:

      • During your Tiki experience, we will be playing a selection of music to enhance the summer vibes. We encourage you to become a Juke Box Hero for Charity. While cruising, you may request a song for a $1 donation to the Children’s Hospital.

  • If you book all 12 tickets, or a private charter, then yes!

    There is a maximum capacity of 12 persons You may book for as many persons as you plan to bring up to capacity.

    Please note, private parties or corporate events can have up 24 persons on two boats! (12 persons per boat

    • Arrive 15 minutes early and don’t forget we are a fully Licensed Bar so we will be serving drinks. During the cruise, all purchases are cashless. You are welcome to bring your own food.

      Please remember sunscreen, sunglasses, bug spray, and maybe a hat. A light jacket, a long-sleeved shirt, or a cover-up might come in handy depending on the weather.

      Children under 12 are welcome but must wear a lifejacket and are considered as a passenger.

  • It’s Island Time! Dress however you like weather it’s casual, versace or margaritaville, it’s our pleasure to host you! Palapa tours is an outdoor boat cruise, so we reccomend youcheck the weather, and maybe bring an extra layer in case it’s windy! If you have highheels consider bringing flats aswell!

  • Yes! There is a bathroom on board, please #1’s only.

Palapa Experience

  • As this is a live event, all sales are final and we are not able to issue refunds.

    If you purchased trip insurance, you. are able to cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours in advance.

    We are committed to providing excellent experiences to all of our patrons so if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  • Any tickets that have been paid for cannot be removed, but for large groups that have only put down a deposit, we can remove any tickets that have not been paid for up until 48 hours in advance. After that, no changes can be made. You can add tickets up until the time of your sail as long as the maximum players has not been reached
