About the Company:
Palapa Tours offers a unique floating tiki bar & tour experience of the Toronto Habour, including the Toronto Islands. Departing city side at the Harbourfront Centre, the guests join us for a 90-minute cruise, hosted by you, a captain, and a bartender, spinning up margaritas, music & a good time.
While hosting public and private tours, our goal is to ensure an engaging & fun experience on board the vessel!

Operations Manager Job Listing
Palapa Tours is looking for an energetic and highly organized manager to oversee the daily operations and facilities of the company. This role is for highly motivated individuals with strong communication skills and experience in customer service. This is an on-site position with some opportunity to work from home. It will help if you like boating, outdoors, and being on the water.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily business operations while maintaining the integrity of the operation, and company property & ensuring guest experience and wellbeing
Ensuring all supplies and inventory are stocked and working, scheduling deliveries of out-of-stock items,
Managing, scheduling, and coordinating the bartenders & Captains & crew
Completing Captain and Front of House training (training is provided); filling the position of any gaps in the schedule that arise, i.e., staff emergencies/illness
Supporting, uplifting, and motivating all cast, crew, and leadership team members, Maintaining the integrity of the vessel and facilities.
Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum 2 years customer service experience interacting with guests and patrons in the theatre community
Organized, strong time-management skills
Excellent conflict resolution practices
Comfortable working on a boat
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated team management or supervisory experience
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English fluently, speaking an additional language is an asset but not required
Comfortable with using Google Workspace
Smart serve certified
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with a team
Experience with booking software & scheduling software a plus
